  he's asking if i've read the first page of the new watchtower.. says page 8 admits and exposes the society's mistaken expectations.. says that both mags have been adjusted to reflect the understanding of generation.

  asking if it is my position that witnesses have made claims to be inspired prophets.... and saying if it is, maybe *we* can consider together some examples in the bible of others who have had wrong expectations and have gone ahead of god's timetable and see how god handled that..

  When they publicly APPOLOGIZE AND REINSTATE ALL THOSE THEY DF'D FOR APOSTASY THAT'S ANOTHER STORY.

  Even then they will NEVER be able to make amends for those who have commited suicide or lost years of family because of them........

  ~OK........so the WT has made mistakes, what about the 1000,000 that have been disfellowshipped for questioning the WT mistakes (doctrines) and been ripped away from their families.....???

  ~And f the GB now admit their interpetations or writings (WT) is NOT spirit inspired ....(only admiting the early Christians writings (bible was inspired)...how can they even believe they are of the annointed???? Russel and friends believed they were of the annointed, and we know how their end time interpetation dates went......and later GB...."This Generation" and 1914......1975...... interpetations ended.

  hi guys,.

  being a brit living abroad, i never really understood the whole thanksgiving business.. i think growing up as a jw didn't help either.

  anyway, i've rid myself of those jw shackles and have decided to take an interest into the goings on over the pond, especially as my favourite place on earth is bar harbor.

  look at the proclaimers book, page 218. they are talking about the june 1st and june 15, 1938 wt.

  "it is quite common for the losing party at trial to offer not to appeal if the winner accepts reduced damages."

  Are you positive the WTS is appealing the entire case, maybe only appealing with Motion to Substitute or Reduce Bond buying time to gather money?

  I would think the judge/court would be pretty pissed after Conti accepted reduced damages only to turn around and appeal. Does that make sense?
